6/24/2010 9:51:00 PMBluegills on dry flies, good for you, that's awesome! They are actually very good eating. I usually fillet all of my panfish, roll them in Zatarain's Crispy Southern Fish Fry and drop them in the fryer for a minute or so. My boys can sometimes be picky eaters but not when eating fried panfish. Any size to those guys?

6/24/2010 10:05:00 PM6-7" long, 4" in body "height" - although the ones I caught today were consistently bigger (probably cause they were all males) - that report should be following soon.

6/24/2010 11:52:00 PMLove eating bluegill..one of my favorites. I too fillet them, bread them, and pan fry them. They make size fish and chip.
