I was travelling through the Dayton/Pomeroy area and decided to check out Rainbow Lake. Absolutely beautiful location in a wooded canyon south of Pomeroy. Got to the lake about 2pm and fished for two hours. C&R'd 5 rainbows 10"+ and kept two. Started by tossing rooster tails, getting hits and no hookups. There were some other folks there fishing powerbait on the bottom but not catching. I decided to try 'crawler chunks under a bobber and that was the ticket! Good time. Sorry no photos...
