Three of us fished Riffe on Sunday from about 0930 to 1400. We trolled various gear including Wedding Rings and hoochies behind a 0000 flasher. We baited these rigs with corn, worms, or shrimp. We caught five 11 to 14 inch landlocked coho and missed many more. We fished Thursday with similar results. Trolling near the dam seemed to work best for us, about 40 feet of line out at about 1.5 knots. The fishermen in the know did much better than we did with limits, but we had a good time. We were very impressed with the facilities at Mossyrock Park.

For those short biters we've used a type of hook calles "tru-turn, Cabella's carrys them, it's a fine wire gold hook with a kind of kink in the shaft of the hook, size 4 or 6. Seems to help on silvers and Kokanee, we swap out hooks on wedding rings with these, also we change line to florocarbon for less visibility. Great report, are you using downriggers , weight or leaded line? Bob R
