On the lake at 7:30am. Lots of bites from rock bass w/drop shot. Landed a couple of the larger ones. Saw a 6-7 pounder in about 6 feet @ sw end of lake but spooked it. Lost a nice fish after it buried itself in thick weeds about 4 feet. Caught a 2 pounder @ north end of lake. Then got a ticket for not having a life vest in the boat.$87. They sent me packin home.
