Fishing for trout was great. Able to catch them by stripping a nymph on the float tube. Landed 6 rainbows about 10 inches in size all looked healthy...wished they were bigger. Most of the trout were cought one third of the way into the lake in the mid section.

Fished for bass around 7:30 from shore for 20 minutes. Looking for any beds did not see any. I did find one bass under a log and threw a plasitic worm next to him. Next thing I saw was his head looking at the worm and then the fish was swimming under the log with the tail end of the worm in its mouth. I did not want the bass to be tied up under the log so I pulled the worm out of his mouth. The bass never came back for more. Still it was great to see this happen anyway. The water clarity is very good. Over all it was great day fishing.
