I fished log Boom Park early this morning for 3 hours on the dock at the far end before I had to go to work after reading the previous reports on log boom. Fished small maribou jigs both with and with out bobbers at time and also dry fly with small splitshot a foot up and bobber; C & R 2 crappies,5 punkin seeds,2 blue gills, and 7 yellow perch.
Seen lots of carp jumping and swimming by the dock.
I would say fishing is pretty good, a good dock to bring a child fishing. As I was leaving 2 other guys showed up fishing, hope they had as much fun as I did.
