6/30/2010 6:42:00 PMI sent an e-mail to the DNR people asking about the camping and Launch, I was told that they did not have a camp host to monitor the camp grounds so the entire site would be closed. I asked why they could not open the launch area and close the camping I was again told that without a camp host it would not be opened. I have used this launch many times, and during the summer months they have a Security company watching the launch area I'm sure that DNR pays for their services so why is a camp host needed to open the launch if security is there, DNR had no answer to the question. Maybe they forgot to put into the budget?
