Wife and I arrived at Fish Lake around 11 am. Fished off the dock.
The folks who were out in the boats reported catching limits.
We gathered up our gear and walked out on the dock, dock has lots of room and benches to sit on.
WARNING: There's otters under the dock that will strip the fish right off a stringer, better bring a mesh basket or use a bucket.
At 11:15 am, using Red & White Turbo Power Bait, wife caught nice 14 inch rainbow, it was the only one she caught all day, a few bites now and then but just couldn't hook em.
Others on the dock were catching a few fish in the 10 to 12 inch range and one guy pulled in a nice 16 incher.
After 6 hours of trying different colors of power bait, plus some worms I finally caught a 12 inch rainbow. Someone said that the moon was full so the fish were feeding at night, oh well, even so, we had a fun day fishing and a couple of nice ones were in the frying pan the next day. We'll be going back to Fish Lake.
