Launched at Atlantic City Park and fished the southern shoreline. Caught too many bass to count; 3 were small, the rest were smaller; and 1 perch that fits in the smaller category. Had 2 giant carp swim right next to my boat, could have touched one.

Just couldn't seem to find anything worth being excited for; it was very dissapointing. I would pull 2-3 out of the same exact spot - there must have been a momma or a poppa close by right? Couldn't find them...

I was using a firetiger speedtrap all around the docks and out about 20 feet. Maybe I just wasn't getting deep enough for the bigger fellas? Really looking for ideas here; anyone?

Briefly pulled out a worm on a carolina rig and a silver/blue/black jerkbait but had no luck. Maybe I didn't give them much of a chance because the crankbait was catching everything; I kept hoping it would eventually catch a big one!
