I can tell you this, Kapowsin is down right creepy at 3:30 am. After recent stories and pictures from friends and this site, I got pumped up despite my better judgement and the love for my boat, I had to get to the south end of the lake before the sun did. After many stump bumps and some dead stops, not to mention paint scrapes ( why would you put metal rods sticking out of the stumps? I'd rather hit the wood) I made it. Caught many small fish on a popper, wake bait, and crank bait, but I missed the big one twice back in the lilys with a frog. I spent 8 hours out on the lake and loved every minute of it. It's hard to look around on Kapowsin and not see the potential for huge bass. I guess, or at least in my experience it's either small or nothing or big and nothing, but either way the potential for the big fish out weighs the bumps and dings my boat has to take to get my tackle in the way of fish.
