Luminous Chartreuse and Purple Glow Flatfish in T4 and F7 were the ticket today. We started a bit later than usual (at 6:30 instead of 5:30), but it didn't matter. We got 3 fish on the first pass on the Bar. We turned around and hooked a triple that we boated 2 of. The other one slipped the hook right at the boat! A blank pass then a double coming back down and we had 7 fish before 8AM, but it was obvious the Bar had cooled off. Then Mama Nature cranked up the wind speed as we moved into the lower basin to fish the trench. We still managed a couple more nice fish. We finished with 9. The smallest was 4.5 and the biggest was between the 8.5 and 9 marker on the scale. What a great morning for Christian men to bond. Folks from Kelowna sure are nice.
