welllppp 1st time out this season and i was on a meat run so i headed to Ward....slingblade nuthin ..try'd 1/2 doz diff combos...got a couple hits on a lil 3in Williams in red 'n silver.....the good 'ol dbble 00 dodger in plane silver got most of the hits....water temp was 71 so i took a guess at the therm drop'd stuff down 20' on 1 side 'n 25' on the other...viz was aaamaze'n could see my clips at 20ft when it was overcast ...mark'd most fish at 20-25ft and then a lil deeper after the sun burned threw duh.....the bigger kok was 15in....CR'd a doz try'n for 3 nice 1s to feed the family.....drown'd the poor lil 1 and the crazy lil trout wanted my gear bad 1 hook in the tounge the other in the gut sooo in the box....lost 2 KOK's try'n to do the 2 pole drive the boat 'n net the fish deal that prolly went 18....#@*%#*.....dont know if u can see it in the pic but that 1 buck was kipe'n up a lil bit....O and that lil trout was as brightly colored on the inside as he was on the out.....hit it at O dark thirty...off some time after noon....my broken bk is realllly glad the weather warmed up....hope it lasts more than a couple weeks LOL(sorta)....found a few bugs in the boat(1st trip out) that'll need to be fix'd before i hit the sound danngggit ....so the salmon 'n crabs are safe for a lil while longer...annnnyyways .....TIGHT LINES 'n STRONG KNOTS (and loooose drags) TO YA'LL....DOG
