Went out at 2 PM for some sun and looking to get more Trout for my smoker. Had to wait for trailer parking as the lot is small only about 5 spots in the campground but it is better then having your window smashed for the radio. Motored to the South end ( 40 - 60 Ft) started to troll. After an hour got my fist hit and a small (12") RB and then worked the spot with good hits each time I drifted with the wind and ran 25 feet deep. Fish no. 4 was a fun fish as it took the line straight on and it looked to me like the line went soft so I just started to work the line in and after getting it almost to the boat bam she took off by jumping 4 times and running the spool out like a banchie. I use Ult-gear and line so I give a chance to get free if they want it bad enough. This one did and almost got her wish. After a second run she ran out of steam and I got her in the net. 17" and mad as hell. After her I got another small one that fill up my card for the day and headed to the dock. BEWARE THIS LAKE IS A WATER SKI LAKE AND YOU WILL ROCK AND ROLL
