I had a great time fishing off the dock the other day.I this largemouth bass is the biggest bass i have ever caught at 6LBS. I had people telling me while i was bringing it out of the water that is the biggest fish i have ever seen come out of the lake (which i know i have seen bigger come out). I had another one tack it right as i was pulling the crankbait out of the waster but it got away, oh well. Had a great day fishig though.

This is the biggest largemouth bass i have ever caught at 6LBS. I caught it using a crankbait.

I think I now know where the lake got it's name from. That bass looks like he must have ate about three pounds of it right before you caught him.

uhm... i usually don't do this and i am against people doing it.. however this report is BEYOND farfetched. that bass isn't anywhere even remotely close to 6 pounds. i agree with fishin masta, maybe 2 at best..

Man, you guy's are ruthless. I've never know an angler that does embellish once in a while. But they usually don't show pictures ;)

For what it's worth, Target has a 50lb Rapala digital scale that figures tare weight for $17.

Nice fish, but like the others stated, its not 6 lbs. Now I'll show you a 6 lb Steel lake LM if you want, don't make me do it lol.

You should've done the old Jimmy Houston trick and held the fish really close to the camera. Nice job on the fish though!

That is a nice catch, 6lbs or not. Steel Lake is a brutal lake for bass fishing without a boat. Trust me, I know. And it seems you caught it in the same spot that I caught mine in the previous report.
