Got to the lake at about 430pm. Headed to the RV park and started there. Fished for a little bit but didn't catch anything. Very shallow up near the docks so decided to try a little deeper but didn't work out. Anybody have any advice fishing that area? It's so shallow and there's no cover so I'm wondering if its better fishing atound 20-25ft and casting into 10-15ft. Anyway, after the park I went over to the E side and fished all the way to the N tip. Water temps were about 76 degrees. Tried fishing the docks and even went out a little deeper. Caught 3 along the way but they were all dinks. 2 largemouths and 1 that looked like a perch. Pretty slow day and had to really work at the fish we did catch. But maybe that's because the evening bite just isn't as good as the morning. But I'll be back tomorrow AM to give it another shot!
