Great day. I took my fly rod to the lake to try it out. Since I didn't have any flies to match the hatch there, I just fished a chunk of worm under a strike indicator. Caught tons of pumpkinseeds and a small carp! It was my first carp too. Im going to bring my fly rod again, its a fun way to fish! There is plenty of room to cast when you fish on the parking-lot side of the lake.
