Took my son R0cky23 out to get him onto his first bass. Was a cold, foggy, rainy morning and we had the lake all to ourselves but am sure everyone within a 10 mile radius heard Nathan as he hooked and landed his first largemouth that weighed in at 1 pound 2 ounces. Was so awesome to see Nathan catch his first that I was just as pumped as he was when it got onto the boat. The bite was really tough with the wind and cold front that had rolled in. We heard the State Tourney launch on Riffe as we continued working the lake. Alot of little dinks teased us and finally I caught my first one, right around 3 pounds. I had issues with the livewell and thought she had died but snapped a quick pic and was able to revive her to swim and grow bigger. Was a little stressed as it shows in the pic ... LOL.
