The great thing about getting a deckhand trained is it frees you up to do research. While Jaime preps the boat in the morning I get to throw a spinner around the docks at Mill Bay to see who is lurking. Some days it is Northern Pikeminnow for bait, sometimes cutthroat trout and sometimes, it's a nice Bass. Just toss a green 1/8th ounce Wordens Lures Roostertail around the docks early in the morning. This one was about a pound and a half and almost 17 inches... What a blast on an ultralight!
