Hit Cassidy once again this morning at 5:30am...left the lake around 10:30am...in between I managed to catch (and release) twenty or so largemouth bass, 8 or 9 perch (some pretty good size ones too), a couple crappie, and what looked like a true bluegill (I swear it looked a lot different than a pumpkinseed, with a big dark blue spot on the gill plate - I don't know if we have any "true" bluegill around this area, do we??). I used plastic worms and Rapalas (perch colored this time). Nothing over a pound, pound and a half...a beautiful morning, just not any big fish in the boat.

I have caught blue gills in there also. In april, we went out there and caught a lot of perch and pumpkinseeds and two true bluegills. They are definitely not very common in there, but are present.

Cool, thanks for the info...the only other Lake I've caught "true" blue gill in was Fazon up in Whatcom County...or maybe I just didn't know any better and thought they were all pumpkinseeds through the years. Take care
