Myself, my buddy Dan, and his father in law had lines in the water at 5:45 am and the first fish was in the boat at 6:00 am. From there we caught 4 more by 8:45 and worked until 10:30 for the final fish. We lost one at the boat and missed other 3 strikes. The fish ranged from 4.5 to 6.9 pounds and they all fought great. There were about 50 boats on the water and at times, many were catching fish. As I write this report my 2, minus one fillet for the BBQ, are sitting in a brown sugar/salt brine awaiting my smoker tomorrow afternoon. The three of us will be back at Baker Lake tomorrow morning (earlier this time, first light) and hope to take our limits one more time. We trolled chrome dodgers, and double red hooks with sand shrimp @ noisy creek and our depth was between 45 and 60 feet. We also applied smelly jelly to the downrigger balls. Great trip!
