Went to Lake Cassidy today 4pm to 8pm with my buddy Tony. We started where I caught fish on Thursday and I hooked one on 2nd cast on top water minnow in pads. Lost him but nice to get action right away. Tony landed a nice 11.75" bass on white spinner bait in pads. We spent next 4 hours fishing in and around pads and docks. Didn't really catch anything by docks but in lilly pads or in front of them. Tony got 6 bass largest was 13.5" but also landed 12", 11.75", and two 10". I landed one dink 6" bass but other two were 11" and 11.75". I also landed largest crappie I have ever seen 11" and lipped him. Got him on rapala in front of pads twitched it a few times on top then swam it in he hit on swim. Not a lot of fish but not bad day. All fish were released. Top water was a little slower due to lack of bugs after rain for day and half.
