Well I actually fished the Hood Park Pond that's in the Hood Park Campground and the slough from the mouth of the Snake/Columbia River area across the highway from Hood Park. I started at 6:30 PM after I had picked up some of the Berkley Gulp Minnows this morning after hearing from Jigmeister how well they worked and fished Hood Park Pond for about 30 minutes and only caught 1 dink about 7" or so. So then I said it's time to move and went over to the slough and fished there. First fish I caught there was another little largemouth about 8" or so. Then about 3 casts later I got another bite, this time one that was about 1 1/2 lbs. I didn't catch another fish from that spot and was waiting for this lady to leave from another spot so I could fish it since it was the spot I wanted to fish in the first place. Ended up picking up another largemouth that was around 2 lbs or so. Fished for another 45 minutes without a bite and left around 8:30 PM. Seems like a good little area to fish and I'll be back sometime.
