Fantastic fishing. Great hike to the lake. I recommend buying the cow bells, a bit slow at times but once the trout are feeding it's non stop. Chartreuse power bait nailed me an 11 1/2 Brown. 730am, started using top-mid depth Kast Master lure, 3 casts, 3 fish. All above 9". If you're looking for a fun time with your friends, or whether it be with your kids, Boardman lake is the place to go. Lake water was warm enough to swim in. GREAT spot to camp at as well.
