Got to the lake about 4pm. The waves were rolling in and we were in for a rough ride to get to the other end. After a rough ride we got to the west end and started fishing. Only 2 other boats there, one was a guy in a 12ft boat with no life jacket on. First fished hooked after about 30 min of fishing, got him close enough to see him. 15 min later another one lets us see him. Right as the sun fell below the mountains the fish went nuts, both poles went off, got one in the net, then as fast as we got them back down fish on. Got one in the boat and called it good. So i think we ended up about 2 for 8 in getting them in the boat. gotta work on that. Now the sad part. We realized that the other boat in the area had a better catch rate then us in fact they had netted at least 7 fish with only 2 people in the boat during the 3 hours we were fishing. Did'nt really hit us until we were heading in. Saw them also head in and go to a camp ground on the south side. Pretty sure its only a 2 fish limit on Lake Wenatchee and 6 fish in the Columbia.
