Spent some time bassin at Beaver today...rubber worms along my favorite edge. C&R'd around 15 largemouth...and only one dink the whole time. The two pictured are 24 inches and 22 inches long...definitely two handers! Got a couple 19 and 20 inches, and most of the others were 13-15 inches long. The best 5 had to be around 22-23 pounds. Awesome fish, and a great SACK - pretty much all caught in the same spot/area. Wish I could post more photos in one report to show you all of these quality bass...incredible day... my new "happy place!"

Hawgs On I always appreciate your informative posts. I haven't fished Beaver for about 20 years, but just got a kayak & would like to give it a whirl . As I recall the whole lake looks "bassy" -- cover everywhere, lots of trees on the West side... Care to share any hints regarding techinc and best locations to try? Thanks!

Rubber worms around the pads...I find that I must let it sit until they take, otherwise I am fishing too fast. Also, I clean weeds off on most every cast. Tough fishing sometimes, but it can payoff.
