The forecasted thunderstorms messed up my fishing plans but never actually rained. so i grab the pole and went to greenlake for a bit. I had my tailed yamamoto 3in grub from yesterday still tied on so i left it on for a cast. I ran into a school of rock bass because they got interested in that grub and after the 4th one, the grub's tail was half ripped off and looking pretty sad but i'm lazy and cheap so i kept rehooking it until it fell off the hook. rigged a 5 in finesse worm by zoom (but cut it down to 3 in) cause it was too big for the fish. the zoom worm was a lot more durable and i caught around 15 more, nothing of great size but super fun for 2 hours. Some carp came over to visit and i saw an osprey fishing in the middle of the lake. The pic is old but a reference for the average size.

Those rock bass sure are fun to fish for when nothing else is biting. They will take almost anything you throw at them.

I've caught them on nothing but a hook. Heheh.
