Was reading the other report, and thought I'd put one in - I was one of the guys in the pontoon boat fly fishing!
Decided to go to Five Mile on opening day - since there isn't a boat launch there, its a pretty good guarantee not to be crowded. My friend and I dropped in our pontoon boats and went to the far end of the lake. Caught one right away on a Muddler Minnow (about exactly 6 inches). My friend caught another about an hour later on a Wooly Bugger (same size). Just before we decided to come in, I caught 2 more on a reddish caddis fly that were a little bigger, maybe 8 inches (probably should have used that the whole time). Only saw a few hitting on the surface. Didn't see many being caught and they were few and far between for opening day, we fished about a total of 4 hrs and only had 4 fish between us in that time. We did release ours, were just fishing for fun.
