Now that my dinghy has been repaired thought I'd try Dolloff for the very first time (Lk Wilderness had some concert going on). Fished from 6:00p - 8:30p looking for evening crappie bite. Not much early luck at all, at least not with ol' reliable jig with pearl white skirt tipped with worm. Finally switched to red/white skirt cast right into the foot of lily-pads along east shore. Landed three (3) nice bluegills which put up quite the fight. Could have caught more once I figured things out but it was getting dark. Nice little stained water lake, not too deep, quiet with lots of structure; perfect habitat for bass and crappies. I'll be back!

Have you pulled Crappie out of there before? Always looking for new Crappie waters. Gotta love the way those gills fight huh?? Thanks for the report.

No never fished Dolloff before this was my first time. I was hoping maybe someone out there had advice! Bluegills seem plentiful in this lake there were guys catching them near the boat launch with a bobber and worm. I'll try again some evening with maggots, and more colorful jings near the northern end. There are lakes around Seattle with beautiful black Crappies just like finding new ones!
