Had the lake to myself. I wanted to catch a largemouth on a plastic frog thrown on top of the pads. Pitched next to the shore and waited for the pads to explode as I hopped the frog accross the surface. No such luck. Had two feable attemps by a small bass and that was it. Over all it was a nice day and the anticipation of a surface bite made it exciting, even though nothing happened. I will try again some other time...at a different lake.
