I took the pond prowler to steel lake yesterday with high hopes but those quickly went away. I arrived at1045 and started fishing in a counter clockwise direction. I started off using a black 5" yamamoto kut tail worm had one bite on the eastside of the lake. I didn't get anymore bites so I switched to fishing deep. I tried using a drop shot rig with a 4.5" roboworm. This was my first time using this technique so I hope I rigged it correctly. I did manage to get a few bites in 12-15' of water. The weather wasn't in my favor since the wind was blowing a little hard and I forgot my anchor in the back of my truck. There was another boat out there and they didn't have much luck either.
