8/29/2010 9:46:00 AMhaven't used a Hotspot brand dodger but that's only because I was trying what I had. which was about a 5" white dodger with green flecks. my buddy was using a smaller chrome dodger and we both caught fish. leader was about 2' long 8lb flourocarbon. caught fish at 40' and 70' I'm not really convinced that the dodger should be any certain color or exact shape. but I certainly don't have the experience to make any solid conclusions. the fat trout's stomach was just full of stickleback so I've been thinking of trying to fashion some lures that mimic them more closely.. but the apex might already be pretty good

8/30/2010 8:31:00 PMyou dont need to fashion anything what you need to buy are the needle fish they work superb for mimicing small trout and stickle backs etc etc...but you will need to troll faster then 1.5mph..
