Fished the south end near the crew house for a few hours early in the day 8 a.m.. while a bud walked around the lake trying a few trout spots and talking to the carp guys they were just getting going. i got 1 10incher and lost the bite (dosing?) on another. We switched up to muskie gear and walked around the lake again trying the shore when we could get close and not too wet. got one very good hit that broke the knot and nearly pulled the pole out of my hands. we got a few looks of disbelief while walking around with 6in jointed rapalas on our poles. The carp guy had 1 when we went by. He didn't speak English well but we think he was telling us that somebody else caught and kept a large long fish with big teeth. a few days ago? (muskie)?
