Fished Liberty last night from 5pm till around 8pm betting that the cooler weather would hold down the boat traffic as I always dread the launch. The water levels are quite a bit lower and even the main launch dock's verticle pillars are laying over from it being so low.
Water temps were in the 67-69F range and threw a few senkos around docks on the northern shoreline but only boated two in the 1.5lb range. Started drop-shotting the transition zones but didn't get any results on the wind blown areas so headed to some sheltered areas and pulled a smaller fish using a dropshot. Interesting thing was he had two fish in his mouth with the tails sticking out so I changed my dropshot presentation over to "match-the-hatch" and about 200 yds later I boated my largest fish for the night.
Hopefully with the cooling weather the bite and size will turn on soon.
Total for the evening was 7 fish with 4 going between 1.5 to 2.5lbs.
