Launched today at 6:30 am and was fishing by 7:00am..Started today smack dead center in the Trench out from Rocky point where I found fish but They did not like me. I could not get even a nibble off these fish. At first I thought that somebody had a banana onboard. I was in total shock. I always seem to get them to bite if I see them on the graph. But not today..I worked on these fish for 2 hrs and nothing..
So I fired the boat up and headed to Mack Bar to see if it was the fish or did I have a weird smell to me today..
Ended up being the fish..I made 1 pass over the shallow hump to get the skunk fish out of the way and I did graph good numbers, so I turned right around and hit them going the opposite angle and hooked up again. We ended the day with 7 laketrout..we caught 2 more while I was cleaning the 5 Pictured.
