Another fine night on Silver! Had the wife drop me off at the lake while she went to Cheney. Fished for a couple of hours before I finally boated a very healthy tiger. I couldn't get an accurate measurement since I was alone, but I did pull the tape out 44" accross her. If I would have laid her out I am sure she would have went 46" or so.... She was bent around in my net, hence I am sure she was much longer than the 44" I got on my limited try. There was no doubt when she took the lure that she was in feeding mode. She struck the figure 8 hard and fast. I feel she was much bigger than the last large tiger I caught, at Newman. That one was 44". Sorry, no photos. I had my wife's camera phone, and couldn't operate the darn thing.....

Jay K, Nope, she picked me up too! That was the way to go. I did however have to stay out well after dark before she made it back.

AJ's Dad, I wish you would have been there. It was a spur of the moment trip. I will not make the mistake of leaving my cradle home next time though. Even though to use a cradle effectively you need tow people, I know I could have used it here in my boat. My cradle sits cross-ways in my boat, and would have allowed me to lay her out for a few seconds to get the accurate measurement. It would be way more friendly to the fish than the bottom of my boat.

Craig, ANYTIME you want to go back, I am game. I guess I should stipulate, "Provided Sarah says okay!"
