Finally made it to Tapps after a long summer. I was starting to tw tw twitch for some small mouth. I fished Tuesday, thurs. Fri. Tues. I just caught dinks, but I lost my personal best at boat, which sucks. Thurs. was slower but I caught a little bit bigger fish. I Fri. I took the wife, I just wanted her to get her first smallie. On her first cast she caught one! It was about a pound. The rest of the day was slow at best, but at least the wife caught a couple more.

All 3 days I fished mostly around 17 to 35 feet. Caught all fish (about 30) on tubes or grubs dragging them on the bottom. I threw a whole arsenal of other gear, but I only caught them on those two baits. Water temp was 67. As "musky hunter" previously stated the park closes Oct. 1 first so get up there. You don't have to pay either. I am probably gonna fish 3 days up there next week. Good luck!
