September Morning
Today was a great day for fishing and catching up with Ken Heath an old School Buddy which now not an old buddy but a new buddy.
Started trolling at Minneapolis Beach again to get the skunk fish out of the way. The bite was real consistent but they were hitting light. I think that we lost the first 4 fish before boating 1..This was a weird morning with the weather front but as soon as the weather pattern stabilized the bite got alot stronger.
The bait of choice again was the Ace Hi-Fly by Silverhorde tipped with a strip of cured Pikeminnow Fillet (Squawfish).
When the bite slowed at Minneapolis Beach we gradually moved to Mack Bar to bang a few more.. We ended today at around 10:30am with 6 Nice laketrout and I think that we had a total of 15 bites..Great day on the water...
