Went to Caliche for the extended open time before poison. Caught small perch, no big ones, that I know are in there. Fished from 8:30 to 11:30. Moved to Martha, where large trout were cruising the shore. Could land the worm,power bait on their nose, and nothing Switched to rooster tails had a hit,and lost first rooster tail to the fish, tried several others until finally had another hit, fish on, 5min. later it spit the hook . It was a very good size trout. It sure made the day worth while.
