Tried this nice little isolated lake for the first time. Sunny and 70's. Got there late in the AM. No boatramp. Access is OK for a jonboat. North end of the lake is shallow and weedy. Most of the fish I marked were in 20-30 feet of water in the south end of the lake. Got there late AM and fished till about 4 PM. Marked lots of fish of diferent sizes, but the only fish I caught were about 8-10 inches. Trolled wedding rings. Used spinner baits. The fish were partial to corn. Most everything worked, but the only ones that got to the hook were the small cuts and brookies. A fine day, but fish were too small to keep.
