I decided at the last moment to hit the Lake again on Sunday. Noonish ... and it was really warm, not too windy, and NO Weekend Warriors!! ... Had the lake pretty much to myself up North of 520. Looks like the wind, stirred up the Thermocline a bit, as it wasn't as definate on the FF as it has been. Using my regular Wedding Ring, worm etc .... Only had 6 or so hits, but 3 were just "Fatties"!! Kept one for the smoker and release all others. She was just full of eggs, which kinda "hurts" yet, she had swallowed my bait so deep .. I couldn't save her. I re-rigged my Lite Summer Steelhead casting rod, with Braided line, small Shimano Bantum reel, and it makes for a much better "feel" for when I'm running deep.... I was marking fish all over, so I adjusted accoringly.

PS... That's me up in Everett, trolling for "Salty Cutts"

PPS ... She wasn't that long but 13.5" girth puts her around 5.03 Lbs.

I'll second the fact that the fish right now are really bulking up, some of them have taken on a traditional salmon shape in preparation for the spawning season.
