I've been fishing Seward Park the last few days trying to find some good bass habitat. There aren't very many decent areas around the 3-mile park loop but there are a couple good spots - lots of lillies and sunken logs in one area on the west side and a steep, rocky dropoff on the far east side. My girlfriend and I went out fishing Saturday midday and got one first cast, so we new we were in for it. We caught a couple 1 pounders and a few smaller ones on crankbaits for about an hour.
