Man, it has been a tough bite for me the last couple weeks. I have fished a few different lakes and only cuaght a couple dinks. Todoay I arrived at Meridian at about 6 am. Since it was dark I started off with a black/gold spinner bait. I waked it and slow rolled. Nothing. Switched to x-rap, still nothing. Moved out deeper and swithed to soft plastics casting at docks and the weed line. I only had one decent hit and I brought up a scale. Almost thought I was lining salmon on the river.

Finish up dragging tibes and d-shottin in about 26 ft. I could feel the little guys biting but that was it. I only had till 9 to fish so I left. I'm glad I put my waders on before I left my house, my boat had about 3in. of rain in it when I left.
