I wonder if you weights are as suspect as your species identification. Maybe you fished Lenice or Dry Falls and not Lenore?

If you truly fished Lenore, you are only allowed one fish per day no size limit not two,, and your species identification is in question.

nice I was wondering if they were biting haven't been over there in 2 years but last time went in October and hit 26.5" 6lbs trout on spinner my boat was leaking like a sive and got him right before the launch. Nice glad you had a great day. Yep only can keep one that is why they are huge and you get to use that drag with 6lb test!

Wow!! you guys are pretty harsh on me. first time I fished for trout and yes deepbuzzer 1 per day was caught per person please re-read my original post. 2days, 2people, 4 fish hope that makes it clear to you i do read the regs also no barbs no live bait and so fourth.. Grizz it was Lanore I grew up in soap lake so i know the area very well. I will post pics when i get them developed later today and expect an apology for calling me a liar.. Thanks

I'd love to see the pics and thanks for sharing the report.

I wasn't calling you a liar, just suggesting you can't tell the difference between a Rainbow and a Cutthroat. The water of Lenore is too saline for Rainbows to live in.

hey I did read your post and it sounds to me like 2 fish a day is what you caught there are 4 total weights for two days with 2 fisherman 2 plus 2 equals 4. Limit out for 2 people. Fish Kept. 29in rainbow 6.9lbs(1) /28.25in rainbow 5.27lbs(2) /26.50in rainbow 5.13lbs(3) /26.50in rainbow 5.01lbs(4) I have numbered them and it sounds to me like you missed numbered your catch record. Sorry but if your gonna cheat WSDFG do not tell us here!!!!!!

If you are going to call another member a cheat at least get your math right! 1 person X 1 fish kept per day x 2 days is 2 fish. X that by 2 people is 4 fish. You can't add to 4? affatore01 didn't go over the limit so what is the problem? Rainbow or cuttthroat, who really cares? He caught nice fish, had a good time, and shared ot with the rest of us-that's awesome! Slamming on others isn't what this place was about, I thought. What a way to get more folks to post-calling them cheats.

Fool,
I agree it was great for him to share with us, in fact I thanked him for it.
I'm stoked to hear fishing is getting better at Lenore. I heard it has been fishing poorly for years.
I'm heading that direction next week and plan on giving it a shot to see if I can do as well as the OP.
Cuts or Bows, doesn't matter what I'm catching, I only wanted to verify the species to make sure it was Lenore they were fishing. With the good fishing and rainbow id, it didn't sound to me like they were fishing Lenore.

Would still love to see the pictures. I bet they look gorgeous this time of year.

Grizz, I hear you, and I agree; I think he just got excited-I know they are cutts...I might see ya over there, I was going to be over there next week myself and was planning on trying it out also. I have not caught any that big from that lake in quite awhile. Good luck to you!

The original poster does need to learn the spieces he is fishing for, There are NO rainbows in Lenore, the water is to alkaline for survival of rainbows, that is why Lahontans cutthroat were put in there.
