Since the Coho on the Snohomish have not been sounding worthwhile in Lower Snoho River, we decided to go out for afternoon to Roesiger to try hitting trout. Other than perfect weather and being only boat on all of lakes, fishing blew.

We were trolling four different rods from surface to 20-feet. Water temp was reading constant 60-62 degrees. Speed we varied from about .8mph-1.9mph We tried countless setups. and about all colors of wedding-rings w/ threaded worms. Bronze-Hammered/Red, Silver/Red, Brass/Green, etc. We tried some small plugs at various depths. Then also various smaller Dick Nites, throwing spinners, etc. The only action was on a small dodger w/ about 1/4oz weight infront and 2' back trailing a double-threaded crawler. That was nothing to brag about; just a clean/bright ~13" Rainbow.

One thing I would have differently was NOT forget to throw in my fly rods to hit all the surface-action we kept seeing. We did NOT try for bass.
