Took a break from the aggravating Coho fishing in the Stilly and headed to Lake Sixteen with my brothers this morning. Got there before they did so I tested my rigs and decided to let some powerbait soak before they got there with the boat. It wasn't even 5 mins before I hooked a nice 15" rainbow. It was a fun fight with my 5 1/2' featherlight UL fiberglass rod... first fish on that rod since I got it, and I'll be buying more of them for sure. After they showed up we fished around the lake with the usual jigs, powerbait, worms, spinners with no other fish landed.
