Hurrah! Finally busted the 2lb mark for a large mouth bass. Caught a 14in and 15in - Both released.
A nice but cold morning, crowded with weekenders but patience paid off with some nice fish. They were pretty difficult to get bites from, but i saw masses of them in the water so i'm stoked for the next time.

Pika, that is a nice bass for Green lake. I fish there a lot, not as much this past year, but plenty the year b4 that. I don't consider it much of a bass fishery. I only know one other guy, "The UrbanAngler" who has pulled one like that out. What were you throwing?

I've seen some monster bass in greenlake cruise by my boat, five pounders at least. But Quads right, I've fished that lake solid through and there aren't many bass around. Those are nice sized ones too! I've caught bigger trout out of there though, the tripoids get monster sized.

These were caught on nightcrawlers, and i'm not exactly sure on the weight, but i had a tape measure, so all can say is that they are the longest lmb's I caught i guess.
