Hmmm...according to LandBigFIsh.com (http://www.landbigfish.com/staterecords/records.cfm?order=date&sortorder=desc&state=Washington) the official state record kokanee for WA state is only 6lb, .25oz. Sooooo........unless you got this thing weighed on an official scale and have some pics...I don't wanna say I'm skeptical but.................

10/18/2010 5:51:00 AMWe did not have it weighted on an official scale, but it was sure pretty close. We are new to this sport. Weren't aware that State records were out there. We'll have to check in to that. Thanks for the info. Should have found somewhere to get it weighed "officially". Maybe, just maybe, we could have broken that record this weekend.

10/27/2010 1:45:00 PMNice Fish!! I would say its a Rainbow trout. I catch a few of these every year here at American. Good eating they are! I have a few pics here, You could look at them and compare and see if in fact it is a rainbow. But Again NICE fish!!
