Took a walk with the wife one day and saw a gentleman walking back with two huge brown trout. Thought I'd try my luck with an inline spinner w/ two of the hooks cut off and the 3rd barb bent down (they don't seem to sell inline spinners w/ only 1 hook except for large musky lures). No luck. Tough fishing and ungodly cold. Saw 1/3 of a large brown trout (tail-end) mostly eaten on the walking trail back to the car - odd.

Can't wait till ice...
