Day was a bust but we did get a few bites and I lost one, so things are improving. We also thried bobber and jig tipped with shirmp, but the wind was just to much.
As for the wind a word of caution. When we arrived the can line was within feet of shore on the little point we fish due to the strong winds. When the winds died down the current took over and floated the cans back out, but once the wind kicked up again it blew them right back to shore and it took less than 2 minutes for them to move the 30 to 35 yards out back to shore. So if you are boating it might watch real close to that on strong wind days. The can line broke up the wind so seemed safer and calm, but it was very decieving. Safety is more important than fish anyday.
