Had a few hours to kill, so launched the boat at Mill Bay and headed up to the Yacht Club area to try for some of the Big Lakers that hang out there. I trolled for a couple of hours, and had two hits on the green spatter back ace hi-fly. No hook-ups, so I went to the Mack Bar to try my luck. Dropped a Chartreuse Red head flatfish in 180 or so feet of water. Ran it close to bottom. Hooked up and landed a 5 pounder. Marked a few fish, but a slow day on the Lakers. It was a bit breezy at times, but really a nice day for this time of year. For me to get hits was a successful outing, and I got one for the gril. Better than a day at work anytime. LOL
